Celebrations and traditions

At the Casal we want you to feel at home, and at home you can’t miss Catalan traditions.

During the parties we celebrate our culture and our gastronomy, for those who miss it and also to make it known and enjoyed by others.

Every year we celebrate a massive “calçotada”, Sant Jordi’s Day with a book and rose stall in the city centre, a Sant Joan’s Eve with “coques” and a party, a dinner for the National Day of Catalonia, the start of autumn with Castanyada and “panellets”, and we end the year with a Christmas lunch where the kids “fan cagar el tió”.

We have also organised children’s Carnival, chocolate workshops to make the “mona”, and we are open to any proposal. The point is to celebrate!

Check the calendar to stay up to date with the next events. We hope to see you soon!
